3 Weeks

Brielle is 3 weeks old today. She has been such a sweet addition to our family. She still sleeps quite a bit. She definitely lets us know when she needs something. Her cry is much louder than Alivia's was. She has started to make little noises and has also smiled a couple times. At her two week appointment she was back up to her birth weight and was the same length.

Here are some more pictures from the hospital and then a few weeks after that. When Brielle was almost two weeks old we ended up taking her to Primary Children's emergency room because she had blood in her stool. We had talked to our neighbor who is a nurse and she told us it definitely stool and basically said it would probably be good to take her in. So we did. It was hard for us to make the decision to do that, but we felt like it was better to find out what was wrong if there was something wrong. I didn't want her to go through a lot of pain to find out it was nothing so that was hard for me. It ended up being a tear in her bum so it was good we went in cause we were able to find that out and get some cream to put on it.

Introducing Brielle Liberty Buckway

 Here are some pictures of Brielle and welcoming her into the world. She was born at 7:03 pm on December 10, 2013. Sharing a birthday with her aunt Lyndsey! Weighing in at 9 lbs and 21 inches long.
